RAD Level 2 Ballet - 4 years

Class Description

Introduce your young dancer to the world of ballet with our Royal Academy of Dance - Dance To Your Own Tune Level 2 Ballet class. Designed for 4-year-olds, this class will help your child develop coordination, musicality, and a love for dance. Dance to Your Own Tune Classes are structured, lively and fun. DToT aims to secure and encourage the instinctive joy of movement and freedom of expression that young children automatically carry. Through participation in a child learning environment, that encourages creativity, social interaction and independence, children will enhance their physical skills, and develop expression and confidence through movement with music. And combined with all the fun, they’ll be prepared to transition to the next stage of the RAD Pre-Primary / Primary Syllabus when children turn 5 and attending school. The goals are: • To enhance children’s control, co-ordination, movement abilities and physical fitness. • To enhance an awareness of their body in space, encouraging use and understanding of spatial awareness. • To stimulate listening skills, sensitivity to music, and expressions of emotion through movement. • To build children’s confidence, self-esteem and encourage positive co-operative social skills.
